Liposculpture of this region has a simple goal - that is to
remove as much fat as possible. The result is generally better if there is a much greater amount of fat in the area compared to glandular tissue. Whilst the fat can be removed by suctioning, glandular tissue cannot and in this instance it makes more sense to have the breast tissue removed surgically. If the problem has been longstanding and there is a large amount of excess skin, this may be excised at a later date if necessary.
